REC in MED – workshop for children.
On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, as part of the educational program Eco Wednesday and the Interreg Euro-MED RECinMED project, we held a children’s workshop on solar energy and energy communities. 🔆
During the workshop, we explored how clean, renewable solar energy can reduce pollution, protect nature, and help build stronger and more sustainable communities. 🔆
We learned how solar panels work and how even small solar systems can make a big difference. Together, we imagined a future powered by the sun – for us and for our planet. 🔆
As a step toward taking action, we created a story about a village rescued from darkness. Then we played a game to visualize the process of sharing solar energy, and we wrapped up the workshop with a creative task: we designed our own “sunny village” – colorful, clean, and full of sunshine! 🔆
In this way, we are laying the foundations for a future in which the youngest generations contribute to environmental protection with understanding and care. 🔆
