Island Extravaganza 2025: Let’s explore! .

On today’s excursion, the volunteers of the project Island Extravaganza 2025 had the pleasure of visiting two historic and culturally significant sites on the island of Murter. Their first stop was at Saint Michael’s Church, known locally as Crkva sv. Mihovila, where they learned about the rich history and traditions.

Following this, they continued their cultural exploration with a visit to the Church of St. Roch, or Crkva sv. Roka.

After, the volunteers took some time to get acquainted with the fascinating history of Murter itself, discovering its unique stories and heritage that have shaped the island over the years.

Once their cultural journey was complete, they headed towards Raduč, Otok Murter. There, they went on an adventurous walk through the underground tunnels carved deep into the hill and enjoyed the view on the other side.

The day’s exploration concluded at the beach of Slanica, where the volunteers took a refreshing bath.
