Panel discussion at the Open Days of NGOs.
On Thursday, June 5, 2025, the Office for NGOs of the Government of the Republic of Croatia organized the 13th Open Days of NGOs and a conference on the role and contribution of NGOs to the sustainable development of the local community, which was held at the Arsen House of Arts in Šibenik.
The opening ceremony of the event, in addition to numerous representatives of NGOs, the civil sector, and local and regional institutions, was attended by distinguished guests: Marko Pavić, Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and Member of Parliament, Luka Bogdan from the National Foundation for the Development of Civil Society, Natalija Šimunović from the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds, and Mirjana Žurić, Head of Social Affairs of the City of Šibenik.
After the aforementioned guests spoke, a panel discussion followed in which Suzana Suman participated on behalf of our association Argonauta.
Together with other panelists, we discussed the challenges, problems, but also the successes of civil society in our Šibenik-Knin County.
Such meetings remind us of how important cooperation, exchange of experiences, and joint action are in strengthening the local community.
Thank you to the organizers for the opportunity to participate and the inspiring dialogue!
