August : Pomalo.
The month of August passed in the blink of an eye, always under a bright sun. Summer continued its gentle and peaceful course. The Eco-Wednesdays carried on in the same spirit: relaxed, joyful, and dynamic. I took immense pleasure in sharing these moments with the children in the enchanting place that is Lantana, right by the deep blue sea of Cigrada. My experience in informal education grew richer, and preparing the sessions became smooth and effortless.
The yoga classes also kept their steady rhythm, and I loved leading them. The participants, all very kind and grateful to practice yoga for free by the sea, made the experience even more enjoyable for me. With the experience gained in July, I felt truly at ease. Seeing people satisfied and delighted with these practice sessions boosted my confidence and made the experience all the more fulfilling.

For two weeks, we worked from home while our colleagues were on vacation. Remote work turned out to be a pleasant experience, as we had the freedom to choose our own hours. This flexibility was especially valuable in the middle of August, allowing us to organize our days as we saw fit.
The last week of August was marked by a visit from my brother and a friend. We laughed a lot and fully enjoyed the pleasures Murter has to offer. It was wonderful to have them with me to explore this beautiful island. We rented a paddle boat and watched the sunset from the middle of the water. I showed them all the hidden corners of Murter—it felt like a vacation spent together, but at home. Their visit filled me with joy.

I continued to savor the gentle pace of summer in Murter, relaxing in my hammock while soaking in the surrounding beauty and sunshine. Between reading, drawing, and writing, this tranquil rhythm allowed me to fully engage in activities that nourish my soul. It did me a world of good. The future is slowly taking shape, and we’re already thinking about what comes after Murter. I’m actively searching for the next adventure, and everything seems positive.
Romi is set to leave at the beginning of September, and we’re gradually preparing for this transition. We’re both ready to embrace the next chapter of our lives, but perhaps not quite ready to be apart. It’s a strange feeling, being both ready and not ready at the same time. But one thing is certain: the end of our adventure in Murter does not mark the end of our love, which is destined to last a lifetime.
