Project objectives

  • to improve the quality of life on the island of Murter and in the Kornati archipelago through systematic care for the natural heritage and the environment
  • A marine environment cleared of waste and tested for the presence of harmful algae and the “Pinna nobilis” shellfish in the waters around the Kornati archipelago
  • TARGET GROUPS AND THE BROADER PUBLIC: RAISING AWARENESS AND EDUCATING ABOUT THE NEED TO PROTECT AND PRESERVE THE MARINE ENVIRONMENT through an educational program for students and participants in the Camp (biodiversity, emergency situations) and the education of young people training for professions whose activities are carried out in and are closely linked to the sea

Target groups: *at least 20 RONIOCA volunteers; *at least 20 high school students; *at least 10 representatives of local stakeholders (representatives of municipalities, cities, municipal enterprises, tourism associations, local associations, diving clubs, public institutions, and others); *employees and members of the lead organization and partners (10); *local volunteers (10)

Target groups: parents of children participating in the activities (40); lthe island's local population – the general population of OMK (2000); the general public – through the media
