Erasmus+

ENRICHES LIVES, BROADENS HORIZONS

Erasmus+ with Argonaut - a perspective-changing experience

Erasmus+ is a European Union program that opens doors to new knowledge, skills and friendships for young people and organizations across Europe and the world. Through exchanges, education and volunteering projects, it offers the opportunity to learn from each other, develop our own skills, and at the same time build a tolerant, connected and strong society.

We can provide a lot of information about the opportunities offered, how to get your first mobility and who to contact, but first let's answer the question "Why participate?". Erasmus+ means getting out of your comfort zone and stepping into the world of experiential learning, learning that doesn't just happen in the classroom, but also on trips, in working together, in challenges, laughter and conversations until late at night. Through the program, young people acquire new skills and knowledge, discover their own talents, become more confident in themselves, and along the way meet friends from all over Europe. Most importantly, they realize that they can be drivers of change in their community.

Argonauta entered the Erasmus+ story back in 2011, when we hosted our first group of young people on Murter. Since then, we have opened our doors to dozens of participants every year, and our topics are always closely related to what drives us as an association: nature and environmental protection, sustainable development, creativity, and empowering young people for the labor market.

In addition, we regularly send young people from Croatia to other countries so that they can experience for themselves what it means to be part of the Erasmus+ family.

Today we can proudly say that Argonauta has become a recognizable partner in the Erasmus+ community.

In the last 10+ years, we have conducted a series of youth exchanges and trainings to capacity-build youth workers, and since 2023 we have been holders of Accreditation, which allows us to provide new mobility opportunities to even more young people every year, explore various interesting topics, and establish partnerships with organizations around the world.

Erasmus+ is an opportunity that is difficult to describe in words - it is best to experience it firsthand.

If you are ready to meet people from all over Europe, discover new parts of yourself, and return home richer for an experience that will last forever, we invite you to join one of our upcoming exchanges or trainings.
