María Lopez

I am María, born in a small town in Cádiz, in the south of Spain. I graduated in Marketing and Market Research and also completed a master’s in Digital Marketing and eCommerce. During my student years, I combined my studies with various courses, seminars, and many activities related to my field of interest. Consequently, in my last year of studies, I decided to expand my education, and volunteering abroad seemed like a great opportunity for personal and professional development.

The reasons why I participated in this volunteer project abroad were primarily my passion for traveling and learning about different cultures, as well as my interest in social activities and contributing to the common good.

During my volunteering, I contributed to the protection of nature and the environment of Murter Island, as well as helping the local community. I was committed to environmental protection and worked with children and youngsters. I also contributed to improving the quality of life of elderly people and assisted the organization. I became involved in the Murter community, enriched myself with its culture, and fully experienced this opportunity. I had a strong desire to contribute positively and actively participate in this opportunity provided by the European Solidarity Corps.
