November 2025 was exceptionally active and full of events for the project. BLUESLINKS, which throughout the month connected partners from Croatia and Italy through a series of educational, innovative and promotional activities.
BLUESLINKS has once again demonstrated how crucial collaboration between science, industry and young people is for the development of a sustainable blue economy.

💼 BLUESLINKS at Ecomondo 2025 – Rimini, Italy (4–7 November 2025)

From 4th to 7th November The BLUESLINKS project participated in the international fair. Ecomondo 2025 in Rimini, one of Europe's most important events dedicated to green technologies and sustainability.

On Blueslinks exhibition space (Hall B6, stand 216) Visitors were able to learn more about the project's aims and activities, and to find out about the partners and results.
At the same time, at the stand FLAG GALPA CER Daily meetings were held under the title of "Coffee Timewhich have become a place for networking, the exchange of ideas and the development of new partnerships in the blue economy.

💡 Innovation Open Day – Business Blue Talk (5. studenoga 2025.)

Given 5th November, as part of the Ecomondo fair, was held Innovation Open Day – Business Blue Talk, an event dedicated to connecting businesses, universities and research centres from the fisheries and aquaculture sector.

Participants had the opportunity to present their projects, open up possibilities for collaboration and employment, and submit their details and CVs to a shared contact database via a QR code.

The event emphasised the importance of collaboration between education, research and industry, and created a bridge between young talent and the blue economy's entrepreneurial sector.

⚓ Blue Way Hackathon – Aquaculture and Fisheries (6–7 November 2025)

The central event of the month was Blue Way Hackathon, a two-day innovation competition dedicated to sustainable fisheries and aquaculture.
The opening was held at Rimini Expo Centru (Ocean Arena, Hala B8), with welcoming speeches by representatives Europske komisije, talijanskog Ministarstva obrazovanja, and local institutions.

Four thematic challenges within the framework of "Cluster Fisheries and AquacultureThey laid the foundations for teamwork and the development of concrete solutions.
The participants – students, experts and entrepreneurs – then moved on to brod Bella Rimini, which served as a "floating laboratory of innovation".
Under the mentorship of the project partners, the teams worked around the clock, developing ideas and preparing their final presentations.

On the second day, 7 November, was held the Final presentation of projects and award ceremonyThree interdisciplinary teams presented innovative proposals that highlighted the power of collaboration, creativity and innovation among younger generations.

👩‍🎓 Visits to schools and the Young Area – Young people in the spotlight

The final day of Ecomondo was all about the young!
It was held Study visit for 80 pupils from schools ITIS Nullo Baldini (Ravenna) and IPS Versari Macrelli (Cesena), who, together with their teachers, visited companies and institutions active in the blue economy.

As part of the conference “Blue Skills & Jobs”, in the space Young AreaStudents from the partner schools of the BLUESLINKS project in Italy and Croatia (Dubrovnik, Šibenik, Zadar, Lecce, Ortona, Ravenna) presented their projects and ideas for the sustainable management of the sea and coastal areas.

The students' enthusiasm and curiosity have shown how young people are already shaping the sustainable future of the blue economy.

The month of November showed how much the project BLUESLINKS contributes to strengthening cross-border cooperation, innovation and the inclusion of young people in sustainable development processes.
From scientific debates to creative team challenges in Rimini, BLUESLINKS continues to build bridges between science, education and entrepreneurship, promoting a shared vision of a resilient and green Adriatic region.
