Temperature reduction and greening of surfaces for our second Eco Wednesday workshop

Last Wednesday, we held our second summer EKO Wednesday workshop in Lantana!
This time, our volunteer Ona brought exciting news from Pirate Anna, who challenged the children of the island of Murter with her second mission: lowering temperatures and greening surfaces.
Together they explored why shady, green spaces are so important in our cities and towns, learning how trees and vegetation help urban areas stay cooler and more comfortable. To conclude the workshop, the children let their imaginations run wild, designing and building their own green cities!
