Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

The first information day was held in Cesenatico in March, and the second will be held in the city of Lecce on May 15, in the presence of Italian partners and small and medium-sized enterprises, while Croatian partners and companies will participate in the event online.

We are continuing with information events (Info Days), which will be organized to promote innovation, growth, and specialization in the fishing tourism cluster (pescaturism and ittiturism). This will be followed by targeted advisory activities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as part of activity ACT.2.3 – Info Day and Exchange of Innovative Services for Fisheries Tourism and SMEs.

Research conducted among stakeholders and service centers, together with participatory processes in the early stages of the project, identified gaps in knowledge and skills that limit the development potential of the fishing tourism sector.

The objectives of the Info Day and advisory activities are:
● Resolving key problems identified within the cluster
● Providing MSPs with tools and guidelines to reduce environmental impact, improve social responsibility, and strengthen reputation with customers and stakeholders.
● Supporting MSPs in developing destination management plans, community-based tourism initiatives, and sustainable seafood certifications
● Introduction of digital platforms and crowdfunding opportunities to promote business growth and competitiveness

What to expect:
● Modules led by industry experts nominated by the project partners
Topics include sustainable business practices, destination management, community-based initiatives, digital tools for tourism, sustainable seafood certification, and crowdfunding platforms.
● Advisory service – One-Stop-Shop – the opportunity to request personalized counseling from an industry expert on a topic of interest.
