INTERREG Euro-MED RECinMED F2F meeting in Ljubljana

- On February 12, 2026, a partner meeting for the REC IN MED project, co-financed by the Interreg Euro-MED program, was held in Ljubljana, with Suzana Suman and Sanja Đurman representing Argonaut.
The meeting brought together project partners to review past activities, agree on next steps, and coordinate the implementation of pilot activities, communication, and management tasks. The program included working sessions, thematic discussions, group work, and a Management Board meeting.
The first day, February 11, was focused on the project's technical and content-related progress.
They discussed the current status of pilot activity implementation and the structure and content of the corresponding test reports. Participants exchanged experiences, identified challenges, and agreed on next steps.
After the break, work was held in thematic groups (urban, rural, and island areas), with the aim of exchanging specific experiences and adapting approaches to different territorial contexts.
In the afternoon session, a draft document structure was presented, outlining the testing of methodologies and tools through pilot activities. A preliminary discussion was also opened on the plan for transferring the results and ensuring their applicability in other contexts.
Special attention was paid to developing recommendations for decision-makers, with an emphasis on communication grounded in professional and scientific data. The current state of coordination with relevant thematic communities and initiatives was also reviewed, as well as the implementation plan for the planned webinar activities.
On the second day, February 12, a meeting of the Management Board was held.
The governance aspects of the project's implementation were discussed, including organizational issues and activity dynamics. An overview of communication activities and the project's financial status was presented. Participants reviewed plans for the upcoming period and agreed on the general guidelines for the next meeting.
The meeting took place in a constructive atmosphere with the active participation of all partners. Progress was made in finalizing the key documents, further steps for implementing the pilot activities were agreed upon, and guidelines for communication, results dissemination, and project management were defined.
It was also agreed to continue regular coordination and monitoring of the implementation of the planned activities in accordance with the project plan.
