Yesterday, 12 January, we held an online meeting with our partners regarding the upcoming Erasmus+ training. „Youth Leader 101“which in March will bring young leaders from across Europe to Tisno. We discussed what lies ahead, how the preparations will look and what each partner can expect during the project.

On the topic of involving young people in the local community, Youth policies, what a day in Tisno will look like, what activities await us and what I can expect from this training were just some of the topics we covered at this meeting.  

This year's training included, alongside our long-standing partners, new organisations which we introduced to our way of working through practical tasks, games, simulations and plenty of teamwork, all in the spirit of informal learning.

This training will serve as a kind of preparation for the next youth exchange, in which we will involve group leaders who, through this activity, will gain the knowledge, experience and tools to successfully lead groups and participate in shaping the programme of the upcoming exchange. We aim to build the capacity of both ourselves and all partners in implementing activities for and with young people. 

One of the outcomes of this training will be an educational handbook with tools, methods and other tips for anyone wishing to work with young people.
