On Thursday, 13 November 2025, at the Ministry of Economy, we held a round table where we presented the key documents produced during the project "From Plans to Reality – a Renewable Opportunity for the Future", funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) through the European Climate Initiative (EUKI).
During the event, two strategically important documents were presented to those present:
- Identification and analysis of barriers to the development of renewable energy sources, which provides an overview of the main challenges that Croatia faces in the development of RES,
- Recommendations for overcoming obstacles in the development of renewable energy sources, offering concrete solutions and guidelines for improving the existing system and encouraging a faster green transition.
The documents were presented by our collaborator Ivan Duilo (DOOR), who also worked on their preparation. Afterwards, Goran Krajačić, author of the document EnergyPlan analysis of the effects of ambitious decarbonisation scenarios for the Republic of Croatia – data model, presented his findings and opened a constructive discussion on the possibilities, models and challenges of future development of renewable energy sources in Croatia.
The round table fostered a high-quality cross-sectoral dialogue and emphasised the importance of cooperation between the public, professional and civil sectors. The exchange of experiences, analysis of existing measures and discussion of planned policies are key elements for the successful and more ambitious implementation of the green transition in Croatia.
Through shared knowledge, dialogue and collaboration, we are building a sustainable energy future.
