Participation in the 2nd meeting of the territorial antenna as part of the Green Living Areas mission

On Monday, April 13, 2026, we participated in the second meeting of the territorial antenna within the Green Living Areas (GLA) mission, which is being implemented through Interreg Euro-MED Programme and project Community4Living AreasThis meeting brought together numerous partners from Croatia involved in EURO-MED projects with the aim of exchanging information on progress, strengthening mutual cooperation, and coordinating further activities at the national and regional levels.

During the meeting, we presented our Rec in Med project, co-financed by the Interreg Euro-MED program, where we highlighted its objectives, current activities and implementation phase, as well as the key results and expected impacts that the project brings in the context of the development of sustainable and green living spaces in the Mediterranean region. The exchange of information between partners provided a better insight into the progress of a dozen EURO-MED projects in which Croatian organizations participate, but also opened up space for new forms of cooperation and networking.

Territorial antennas play an important role in connecting European projects with the local context, acting as a bridge between developed solutions and their concrete implementation on the ground. Their task includes identifying relevant local and regional stakeholders, transferring knowledge and good practices, and providing support in integrating project results into public policies, thus ensuring that project activities do not remain only at the planning level, but become part of long-term and sustainable strategies.

Such meetings bring significant value to all partners involved because they contribute to strengthening the network of cooperation, enable the exchange of experiences and knowledge, encourage synergy between projects and improve the transfer of innovative solutions to the local and regional level. It is through this kind of cooperation that the capacity for the development of sustainable, more resilient and higher quality living spaces is further strengthened.

We thank all partners and organizers for the successful organization and constructive exchange of knowledge, and we look forward to continued cooperation and future joint activities.
