Today, our volunteer Naelys—or rather, our new pirate friend! 🏴‍☠️—led the first summer Eco-Wednesday as part of the project “Kornati – 10 Important Things to Know About the Sea”. 🌱🌊

The children met a mysterious female pirate who had just arrived on the island. She explained to them that she was looking for new crew members and that she had come to see if they were brave, strong, and resourceful enough to join her.

The first challenge of the day was to think about air pollution and find a sustainable solution. Together, they discovered one of nature’s greatest allies—trees! 🌳

Their next mission was to gather the necessary materials to plant their own trees. Through this hands-on activity, they learned that everyone can contribute to protecting the environment.

To wrap up the adventure, they took part in fun games that tested their speed, team spirit, and agility—skills every true pirate must have on board! ⚓️

It was a wonderful morning filled with laughter, learning, and adventure. The children thought about the problem of pollution, learned how we can protect our planet, and immediately put their ideas into action.
