The last month of the year has come to an end, closing 2025 as a year of change. Looking back, it was calm but full of experiences that pushed me out of my comfort zone and, over time, made me happier.
December at Argonauta started with workshops for nearby schools, part of ongoing projects. Naelys and I produced them and helped bring them to life, traveling to Tisno and Ivinj and engaging with the local youth.

The sunsets this month were my favorite companions. Whenever I could, I would go for a walk and sit to admire the beautiful sunsets over Murter.
Being a Christmas fan, Naelys and I visited the Christmas Market in Šibenik one weekend. While it wasn’t exactly what we expected, the lights were beautiful, we tried fritule, and we enjoyed exploring the city during the day. fritule i uživale istražujući grad tijekom dana.

At the start of December, we also swam in the sea for the last time that year, a cold but refreshing experience that reminded me how special it is to swim in December in Murter.
In mid-December, I gave a presentation at the school in Murter about Catalan traditions for Karlo’s Italian class. I also organized an activity where children created a Caga Tió, a Catalan Christmas symbol. Caga Tió, simbol katalonskog Božića.

Life on the island settled into a slow rhythm, giving me time to finish university courses and focus on myself. One highlight was finally going running with Naelys for the first time. I completed two kilometers and felt proud of the achievement.

As Christmas approached, Naelys and I decided to spend a weekend in Munich. The main goal of this trip was to visit the Christmas markets in this beautiful city and try all kinds of food: pretzels Käsespätzle, CurrywurstAnd we met Theresa, one of the previous volunteer. The festive atmosphere of that weekend officially marked the start of Christmas for us.

This month we also began taking the first steps for our personal projects. We had a meeting with the World Blue Institute regarding funding, set a project date, and created a mood board outlining our goals for 2026. We ended 2025 at Argonauta with a team meal.
Finally, I returned home for Christmas, with my heart full, enjoying time with family and friends and celebrating the holidays. The year ended in Barcelona, surrounded by the people I love most.
