The Green Forum's online workshop brought together associations and organisations with the aim of strengthening the development of renewable energy sources in Croatia.

At the workshop Ivan Duilo, a contributor from the organisation DOOR (The Society for the Design of Sustainable Development) presented three key documents prepared as part of the project From Plans to Reality – a Renewable Opportunity for the Future:

• Green scenario,
• Identification and analysis of barriers to the development of renewable energy sources,
• Recommendations for increasing renewable energy sources.

The documents provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of the OIE sector in Croatia, the identified obstacles to its further development, and concrete proposals for improving existing policies and practices in order to achieve more ambitious energy transition goals.

After the documents were presented, a discussion followed among the participants, who, through examples from practice, shared the challenges and possible solutions related to the implementation of renewable energy projects at local and national levels.

The Green Forum and partner organisations, including Argonauta, will continue to jointly advocate for sustainable energy policies and raise awareness of the importance of accelerating the transition to green energy in Croatia
