Yesterday, we held an online meeting with the partner organizations involved in the recently conducted “Youth Leader 101” training, as well as in the upcoming Erasmus+ youth exchange “Entrepreneurship Goes Green,” which will take place from May 1 to 10, 2026.
While we're still processing the impressions from the recently concluded “Youth Leader 101” training, we've already taken a big step forward – today we held a partnership meeting with the organizations that will participate in our upcoming Erasmus+ youth exchange “Green Entrepreneurship,” which will take place from May 1. to May 10, 2026.
This meeting was an opportunity to coordinate the final details with our partners, share expectations, and further strengthen the collaboration that will provide young people from across Europe with a truly special learning experience.
Green entrepreneurship is not just a trend – it is one of the key responses to today's challenges, such as youth unemployment and climate change. Young people have enormous potential to create innovative and sustainable solutions, but they often lack opportunities, support, and concrete tools to turn those ideas into reality. That is why this exchange brings together 32 young people and 8 group leaders from 8 countries, who will explore how to develop their own ideas in a sustainable and socially responsible way through informal education, experiential learning, and work in international teams.
The central part of the exchange will be the Green Hackathon, an intensive, creative, and dynamic learning experience in which participants will work in teams to solve real environmental challenges. In a limited time, they will develop ideas, test solutions, and ultimately present them to others, just like in the real entrepreneurial world. This is an opportunity to experience what the innovation process looks like from idea to presentation, as well as to receive valuable feedback. Of course, the youth exchange is not just about learning; it is also a space for connection, understanding, and growth. Participants will live and work in international teams, share experiences, and learn from one another, developing intercultural competencies and new friendships.
To ensure the highest quality experience, participants will be tasked, before arriving, with researching local examples of entrepreneurship and their impact on the environment. During the exchange, their active engagement is expected, and after the project they will have the opportunity to share the knowledge they've gained through posts, workshops, and activities in their communities.
We are especially pleased that the training participants will ““Youth Leader 101” will already in May have the opportunity to apply everything they've learned in the role of group leaders. That's exactly where we see the true value of our work: not just in learning, but in its concrete application.
