On Monday, 8 December 2025, we held another workshop as part of the "FEED" project. This time we addressed the topics of vegetarianism, dietary habits and sustainability, and the sixth-form students had their own views and opinions on every question. 

We began the workshop with a warm-up game that, through laughter, created the relaxed atmosphere we strive for in our work. Afterwards, in the spirit of a "world café", the participants rotated between four themed tables, discussed, and left their ideas on flipcharts. Each table had one provocative statement – from whether vegetarianism is a Western trend or a global solution, to myths about the vegetarian diet. After the discussion, they were to create a vegan or vegetarian meal for €5, adhering to certain "conditions." 

The students demonstrated an impressive level of critical thinking, asked insightful questions and often referred to their own family traditions or dietary habits. They also added concrete examples from their lives to the posters – from who would "survive without meat" to how we can adapt tradition for sustainability.

At the end of the workshop, we set aside time for questions, and this session showed that young people are very keen to talk about food, the environment and the habits that shape their everyday lives. We left the school full of impressions — and we believe that the pupils went home with at least one new thought, question or idea.

On that occasion, Argonauta presented two documents produced through the project From Plans to Reality – a Renewable Opportunity for the Future funded by and part of the European Climate Initiative (EUKI) of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). The first document presented the key obstacles in the development of renewable energy sources that Croatia faces, while the second document provided concrete recommendations for overcoming these obstacles. The documents were presented to local stakeholders to support the creation of effective local climate policies.

Participation in the Forum has once again confirmed the importance of involving local stakeholders in climate planning processes. The Argonaut Association will continue to actively contribute to these processes through projects that promote sustainable development, environmental protection and the empowerment of the local community for climate action.
